Designed to fit smaller postage sized lots, zero lot homes live up to their name. Similar to a shotgun home, the narrow lot home is elongated, sometimes one story but also two story, considering the home must be built up instead of out.
On the inside, most rooms are open, which gives the impression of a larger living space. A long hallway on one side of the home provides access to the bedrooms on the opposite side of the home and normally ends with one larger master suite towards the rear of the house.
Dimensions for a zero lot homes typically are no more than 25’ across and can have a variety of dimensions running the length of the home.
